Net proceeds – 2024 auction
The 2025 auction to support response efforts in disaster zones will be May 16-17 at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
The net proceeds from the 2024 auction came to $248,317.45, bringing the 31-year total funds raised for disaster projects to $6,069,138.27! Download the History of Auction Proceeds 1993-2024 by clicking here.
The 2024 Shenandoah District Church of the Brethren Disaster Auction and Sale was held Friday, May 17 – Saturday, May 18, at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds (4808 South Valley Pike, Harrisonburg, Virginia). Our thanks for supporting this important fundraising event that provides support for local, national and international rebuilding efforts in designated disaster areas and for local citizens in need of critical home repairs.

May 17 Schedule: Early morning drop off for auction items, please plan to arrive prior to noon.
11:30 a.m. the fast-food booth opens and runs until
1 p.m. Auction opens
Silent Auction #1 until 2:30 p.m.; pay at 3 p.m.
Purchase of arts, crafts, baked goods, plants at the pavilion, outside tent sales, and the quilt display preview for Saturday’s auction will be open.
4 p.m. Tenderloin Plate Dinner, $15 adults, $10 children ages 10 and under
5 p.m.
Silent Auction # 2
Livestock Barn Auction preview and concession stand opens
6:15 p.m. Devotions at Livestock Barn

Pancake Breakfast, $8 for adults, $5 children ages 10 and under
Silent Auction #3 until 8:30 a.m.; pay for items at 9 a.m.
8 a.m.
Freshly made doughnuts go on sale.
Plant Sale opens
8:30 a.m. Outside tent sales begin
8:45 a.m. Worship service in Exhibit Hall
9 a.m. Main Auction (featuring arts, crafts, and handmade furniture)
10 a.m.
Quilts added to the auction
Silent Auction #4 until 11:30 a.m.; pay for items at noon.
The fast-food booth opens and runs until 3 p.m.
Children’s activities under the big white tent until 1 p.m.

Coin auction in exhibit hall dining area
Strawberry and Peanut Butter pies by the slice or whole
