PRAYER SHAWLS
Each congregation who desires may knit prayer shawls and return them to the District Office for distribution as needed. Download a flyer about the prayer shawl project for posting here. Any suitable pattern may be used. There are so many beautiful patterns on the internet for both knit and crocheted prayer shawls and for a variety of skill levels. Those creating the shawls are welcome to use any pattern they choose. Here’s a link to one example of the different styles of prayer shawls: Crochet Prayer Shawls or Knitted Shawls. Please note the District is not endorsing theses sites, they are merely for illustrating what patterns may be available on the website.
