Disaster Auction and Sale

The annual Disaster Auction and Sale will be held at the Rockingham County, Virginia, Fairgrounds on May 19-20. Proceeds from the two-day event support Brethren Disaster Ministry projects in areas where disasters have occurred. The event begins Friday morning with a golf tournament at Heritage Oaks, followed at 1 p.m. at the Fairgrounds by plant sales, baked goods, the silent auction, arts and crafts and a preview of auction items. The fast food stand will open at noon and operate until 7 p.m., and the pork loin dinner will begin served from 4-6:30 p.m. The Livestock Auction begins at 6:30 p.m. at the barn. On Saturday, May 20, breakfast will begin at 7 a.m., followed by the quilt and furnishings auction at 9 a.m. For more details, click here.
