Heritage Festival At Brethren & Mennonite Heritage Center

The Brethren & Mennonite Heritage Center invites you to a Heritage Festival on October 19 from 9 a,m. to 2 p.m. This special open house event at BMHC will include horse-drawn buggy rides, a singing-school reenactment and hymn singing, heritage skill demonstrations (sorghum molasses making, cider pressing, corn-meal grinding, crosscut sawing, blacksmithing, etc.), hands-on children’s activities (similar to BMHC field trips), Civil War storytelling, and interpretive guides in the Heritage Center’s historic buildings. A lunch of homemade soup and pie will be served (for a freewill donation), as well as complimentary kettle-cooked popcorn. Admission is FREE!
